Executive Summary

TAG Technology Services Sdn Bhd (TAG) is a wholly owned Bumiputera Company formed by aspiring entrepreneurs who started their careers with the world renowned technology company, IBM. With combined experience of ex-IBMers of 26 years in various fields of engineering then, TAG was incorporated and commenced its business in July 1996. TAG began its modest operations in the supply of refurbished IT equipment, computer parts and trouble-shooting services.

Over the years, TAG has grown its capabilities and core activities to serve its valued clients with wider range of specialized products and services to be the choice provider that provides not only effective ICT (Information & Communication Technology) solutions to its clients, but also smooth implementation of the solution with diligent and efficient project management capabilities.

The key areas that TAG has developed includes ICT Managed Services, Consultation and Project Management Services, Network and Communication Services, Site Preparation and Relocation Services, Structured Cabling and Networking Infrastructure and Software Application Development.

By embracing the principles of professional business practices and good governance, TAG has garnered support and established mutually beneficial network with players in this industry sector, big and small, local and international including such renowned names as Motorola, Dell, Hewlett Packard, Cisco, and Lenovo.

Since its inception in 1996, TAG has successfully delivered works to its client in excess of RM158 million in contract value, averaging RM7.5 million on an annual basis. TAG has recorded strong and comprehensive performance track record with client profiles in both the Government and private sectors in Malaysia including such major organisations such as Malaysia Multimedia & Communications Commission (MCMC) and Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM).
